SETTING WEDDING TABLES

If you decide to organize a wedding banquet in a restaurant, then you will not have problems with the table setting. This task will be easily and gracefully handled by the restaurant staff.

But many original ideas for weddings are implemented on open-air grounds, in country houses or guest houses. And in this case, you need our professional help.

BASIC SERVICE RULES

First of all, we define the basic rules of table setting.

Chairs should be placed at a distance of at least 50 cm. Otherwise, guests will interfere with each other.

Under the main tablecloth should be placed a dense woven backing. Thanks to the last change of devices it will be possible to perform completely silently.

It is enough to lay out for each guest three forks and three knives for the main course, appetizers and desserts.

There are also three glasses for white and red wine, as well as for a soft drink.

Drinks for strong alcoholic beverages are set personally for each guest, based on his personal preferences.

Before each guest are put two plates, one on another. The bottom one is for the main course, the top one is for appetizers and salads.

A figurally folded woven napkin is placed on the top plate.

Next to the plate is set personal guest card, printed by printing method.

Table setting should be made in the general style of the wedding ceremony.

Play with color.

Original wedding ceremonies are always quite a bold game with color. And it is the proper table setting that will emphasize the main colors of the wedding celebration.

Tablecloths, napkins, central floral arrangement should be subject to the basic color scheme. And not always the colors of the served tables should be matched to the basic color scheme of the wedding. Sometimes it is more effective to play on the contrast.

Selection of materials tablecloths and cutlery.

An interesting and original solution is to replace aluminum cutlery with copper ones, and instead of linen napkins use velvet. However, other options are possible, based on the specific style of the wedding celebration.

Ornaments and patterns.

Instead of plain ones, you can use tablecloths with ornaments and textured patterns on them. This option will look original for weddings, organized in the emphasized romantic style.

Disclaimer tablecloths.

For weddings organized in loft or rustic styles, you can generally abandon tablecloths, replacing them with stylish runners – narrow strips of fabric, laid on the middle of the table.

However, this option would require the use of tables made of wooden boards.

ADDITIONAL DECORATION OF TABLES

Traditionally in the center of the wedding tables are decorated with a composition of fresh flowers. The size of the flower composition and its shade is determined by the overall style of the wedding ceremony.

But wedding tables can and should be decorated with additional accessories:

• Candles emphasize the romance and solemnity of the situation. All candles must be set in candlesticks;
• Vases for flowers can themselves be a decoration for the table, especially if the wedding ceremony is performed in ethnic style;
• Fruits, berries and vegetables, installed on multi-storey vases, stands, in properly selected colors can also become a decoration of the table, and then also a source of tasty snacks.
